Marine Yacht Battery
Deep cycle marine battery, waterproof yacht battery.
Go Further. Cruise Longer. Play Harder. No Matter the weather.
upgrade to Lithium boat batteries
Larger new cruising yachts, especially those at the quality end of the market, have been routinely fitted with lithium boat batteries for the past few years. Based on the marine leisure experience, many clubs are committed to creating a marine ecosystem and private customized services that combine yachting, sailing, maritime sightseeing and micro-meal services, providing sorts of solution for friends gatherings, corporate gatherings, family sightseeing, leisure and entertainment, corporate business entertainment, etc.
Lithium- The new battery technology
Double the available amps for the battery space taken up. Lithium batteries can discharge to 20% of their capacity. Fastest battery charging up to 100 amps input. Lithium deeps cycle batteries can be placed in series or parallel. Requires lithium battery charger or standard car/boat alternator.
Lithium batteries are much lighter than any lead-acid derived marine battery, one-third the weight of traditional lead batteries. They are recharged and discharged thousands of times if cared for properly and set to charge and discharge between 90% and 30% of capacity. which almost doubles their ‘useable’ capacity when compared to LAs.
Thanks to their low internal resistance, they can withstand a much greater charge rate, thereby drastically reducing the time taken to recharge them. Over 100Amp/hour discharge capability for intermittent high loads. They will provide many more (up to 10x) charge/discharge cycles in their lifetime than any older tech battery
Stronger plates, sealed, calcium additive covers battery plates, only 3% charge loss per month. Excellent for boats that are left for long periods without a solar panel. The best value choice for most boat combined starting & house bank applications.

WHY LITHIUM BOAT BATTERIES ARE THE FUTURE ?
Over the past few years the overall trend has been to increase the energy density, and therefore capacity, of batteries without a corresponding increase in their physical size or cost. Historically the general trend has been for the available technology to advance at about 5-7% per year.
Short-term gains over the next two to four years may come in optimising how we charge lithium boat batteries, including more efficient and cost effective forms of charging while under way. Solar power, for instance, continues to fall in price, while a greater range of companies now offers panels in custom sizes and shapes that can be tailored to neatly fit the available deck or coachroof space.
Looking further ahead, the automotive industry is putting a huge effort into extending the total lifespan of batteries. To date, car manufacturers have generally guaranteed the batteries of their electric vehicles for 200,000km (125,000 miles), or eight years.

Other model customizeable, battery also can be put in parallel for high capacity |
– Bluetooth battery monitor – built-in comprehensive battery monitor displayed on a Smartphone or tablet, always know how much power you have.
– Tough ABS case with vibration dampening – built to withstand the harsh marine environment
– Very high continuous power draw (150 Amps) Great for house bank, starting engines (<50 hp), winches, bow thrusters, trolling motors, windlasses.
– Four times more power per pound than AGM batteries (lightweight)
– 20% more efficient charging, it’s like adding 20% more solar power
– Charges up to 5x faster than lead-acid/AGM
– Will last up to ten times longer than lead-acid/AGM batteries
– 95% usable power vs 60% or less in lead-acid/AGM batteries
– Up to 4 batteries in series and 10 in parallel – flexibility to configure a power system to accommodate boat requirements
– Engineered with high-performance Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO) cells – support a deep cycle drawdown. This battery has twice the power, half the weight, and lasts 4 times longer than a sealed lead acid battery – providing exceptional lifetime value.
– With a lifespan of 3,000 charge cycles this battery will last up to 5 times longer than your typical SLA battery – providing exceptional value over time. Ideal for deep cycle applications like trolling motors, solar energy storage, or marine/boating, where you need lots of power for a long time. – Nontoxic and safe, very low fire risk – no toxic gases emitted, many built-in protections
– Low self-discharge – easy winter storage, long shelf life

FAQ
Yes, lithium batteries are safe for marine and boat applications. Lithium batteries are sealed, which means that moisture and even a bit of water splashing on them will not cause harm. Additionally, most lithium batteries have an internal battery management system (BMS).
That’s why so many now appreciate lithium ion batteries on boats. If you’re looking for the best boat battery, that’s an easy choice. The lithium ion boat battery takes full charge of starting your outboard, powering your trolling motor, and providing the juice to your electronics.
One of the easiest ways to improve fuel efficiency is to reduce a boat’s weight. With a lightweight lithium battery, you don’t have to sacrifice as much of your gear to achieve greater fuel economy. Heavy lead-acid batteries only slow your boat down.
It is highly recommended to charge lithium batteries in series with a multi-bank charger. This means each battery is charged at the same time but completely independent of the other.
Overview of Cranking Battery vs. Deep Cycle Marine Battery: A cranking battery ensures a boat can easily start and get out on the water. A deep-cycle (trolling) battery keeps it operating and runs electronics in any conditions.
All lithium-ion cells are “deep cycle” meaning that they have the ability to be fully charged and discharged. The life of the battery will significantly increase if the depth of each discharge is limited to 80% of the rated capacity.
Wherever possible, a lithium battery should be charged using a charger with a lithium profile however there is an alternative. The nominal charge voltage for an AGM battery is 14.1-14.4V, which means that using a lead acid battery charger set to use the AGM setting will work correctly in most cases.
A 12 volt 100Ah lead acid deep-cycle battery will power a 30lbs thrust Minn Kota trolling motor on Speed 4 setting for about 4 hours.
