Project: Smart Micro-Grid Energy Storage
Capacity: 500 kW/800 kWh
Application: Solar + Storage + Diesel for Rural Electrification
Location: Myanmar
Completion Date: March 2024
In March 2024, a groundbreaking energy solution was deployed in Myanmar to support rural electrification with the installation of a 500 kW/800 kWh smart micro-grid energy storage system. This project integrates solar power, energy storage, and a diesel generator, ensuring reliable and sustainable electricity for remote communities.
The system includes a high-capacity energy storage solution that enables the village to store excess solar energy during the day for use at night or during periods of low sunlight. This hybrid solution offers greater energy reliability by integrating diesel backup power, providing a seamless, off-grid power supply.
Designed to optimize energy efficiency, the system not only helps reduce reliance on fossil fuels but also promotes clean energy use in rural areas. With this micro-grid, the community now enjoys improved access to electricity, driving economic development and enhancing quality of life.
